Context
The store carries a large catalog of helmets, shoes, eyewear and accessories. Publishing each product by hand in WooCommerce took hours and introduced errors in prices, SKUs and categories.
What I did
- Defined an Excel template the team already knows how to fill in.
- Built the process that reads the file and creates or updates products in WooCommerce.
- Added validation to prevent duplicates and incomplete data.
Outcome
Publishing a batch of products is no longer manual work: updating the Excel file is enough.
